Two fees. Never confused with each other.
You pay Rizident for preparation. You pay USCIS for filing. We show both separately, before anything is submitted.
Paid to Rizident
Preparation fee
A single fee per filing that covers guided intake, document checks, the rules-based readiness review, and your prepared packet. The exact amount for your filing type is shown when you start your case, before you are asked to pay.
- No subscription.
- No charge to start a case and see what is required.
- Priced per filing type, not per document or per question.
Paid to the government
USCIS filing fee
Set by USCIS, not by us. It is never revenue for Rizident. We store filing fees as versioned configuration tied to an official source, so the amount you see reflects the published fee for your filing type.
- Shown separately from our fee at every step.
- Fee reductions and waivers, where USCIS offers them, are surfaced as options.
- Amounts change when USCIS changes them — versioned, never guessed.
No surprises
What we will not do.
We will not bundle a government fee into our price, will not charge before you can see what your case requires, and will not promise an outcome. Rizident is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
